  • REVIEW #1000 5 stars. Gaucho lives up to the hype. My goodness . . . Everything is great and cooked perfectly. Honestly, this is also one of the best value meals in the city. The quality to cost ratio is really amazing for the consumer. Here's what I recommend: Carne Sandwich (Ribeye cooked medium rare). Any two sides (they change seasonally). Empanadas (mix). You won't be sorry! The food is a 5 stars, the atmosphere is a 4 stars, the seating is a 2 star. So, if you get there any time after 5:15 - get ready to wait. Like . . . Kennywood, Phantom's Revenge on field trip day wait. The wait is long. BUT that makes your dining experience really nice because the main dining room is small and not overcrowded. I still give 5 stars because this food . . . Heavenly. Tipping is up to your discretion because you pay up front. It's a laid back environment. Great sauces. Everything is amazing. Go to Gaucho. Seriously, go now.
