| - If you're ever in need of an art gallery to view or in the area debating about what to do, come check the the local Madison Museum of Contemporary Art (MMoCA) pronounced "M-MoCa", and you'll be in for simple yet gratifying art experience.
Just this month, I had the opportunity to attend two different events here. The first was on June 2, 2017, for the opening of the most recent exhibit that is currently on display: Kambui Olujimi - Zulu Time. The second was June 12, 2017 for the annual MMoCA Volunteer Dinner.
Kambui Olujimi's Zulu Time artistic pieces not only embedded a deeper social meaning, each piece invoked various emotional feelings, while providing a chance to truly think and view the world in a different mindset that you might've not previously been exposed to or even considered.
The accompanying slideshow that the artist used to present the artwork, further explained this deeper meaning that each piece embedded. All in all, this was quite an enlightening experience that trying to sum up in words just won't do it justice, if you can, check out the art installment while it's still here in Madison!
