  • I was excited to hear that a new gelato shop opened up in the area! And with such great reviews! We stopped by to try it out on one of the recent warm days. I really wanted to like this place as it is cutely decorated and the flavors looked exciting! There was no one in the shop when we walked in, it seemed that the same guy manning the golf shop also runs the gelato shop, so he walked over and let us try as many flavors as we wanted to. I opted for banana. The banana had a definite artificial banana flavoring to it, so this was an immediate turn-off. Gelato is made with fruit, you shouldn't even need fake banana flavoring! So, that was the end for me. My kids got "birthday cake" and "salted caramel". Both were ok.
