  • Wow wow wow I am SO GLAD that we decided to check out this place! We had considered driving to the Grand Canyon but decided it just didn't fit in with our travel arrangements while we were in Vegas. I had no clue how beautiful this park would be. Just a short drive from Vegas is a world far apart from the city! We happened to catch the sun going down and the rocks and scenery were absolutely breath taking. My son had so much fun climbing and running all over the place. Our favorite photos of our whole trip came from here and I can't say enough how much we loved it! Wear appropriate footwear, sunscreen, and water, it is absolutely desert terrain and though it was nice and cool when we went in November, it was VERY dry and you still need to hydrate!
