I've recently realized why people start to develop brand loyalty as they get older. It's because adulting is so hard that any extra courtesy or nicety feels like a branch to a drowning man. My experience at this hotel was pretty much that.
So, I'm directionally challenged and about 50% of the new places I visit are because I got lost trying to go somewhere else. I originally booked this hotel thinking it was 30 minutes away from where it actually is and was really sad to discover reality and had to change hotels. The front desk staff were incredibly gracious and helped me with directions and brainstorming, even though I'd led with the fact that I'd have to check out early and needed to find somewhere closer to my actual destination. It was so refreshing and unexpected... one of the brightest parts of my day.
Additionally, they have free breakfast, free wifi, and THE softest sheets I've ever experienced in a hotel. The hotel was clean and everything was good. Which... honestly, not my usual experience when traveling.
I'm definitely going to make an effort to stay here next time I'm in Cleveland. I could use a few great nights of sleep.
