I swear the intersection of Shea and Scottsdale is home to so many awesome places. Eggstasy is yet another to be added to the list. Stopped by here with a group of about 10 for a Sunday brunch and it was pretty spectacular.
To put it simply, the place is VERY popular on a Sunday morning. I would definitely come in with a reservation like we did. The atmosphere inside reflects its popularity. It was bustling and there was a lot of action going on. I was honestly pretty impressed by the speed and attentiveness of our waitress during our meal. She came by and took our orders very quickly and our food and checks arrived just as fast. Incredibly efficient, which was great considering how many people were looking to get inside.
I ordered the Denver omelette with hash browns and wheat toast. It was quite possibly the largest omelette I've ever received at a breakfast restaurant and it was very delicious. I typically have no trouble finishing a meal, but in this case, there was so much yummy goodness on my plate I couldn't even finish all my toast. Talk about first world problems!
Eggstasy lives up to its name - I'll be back for sure!
