| - Came here for the first time on Saturday evening, night before the 2017 superbowl. We had came here kind of late in the evening as friend came into town around 0915PM. By the time we got down to Mandalay Bay, parked, and found the restaurant, it was closer to 1000PM.
Oh side note, the restaurant is located between Mandalay Bay and Luxor, in the shoppes, more towards Luxor, so it may seem like a little walk before you see it.
We were promptly seated within a few seconds of requesting for a table. The place was fairly empty. 1/2 full or maybe less. Mainly with some larger groups.
Typically we don't really go to burger places unless this friend is in town. He's a huge fan and lover of burgers so its almost became a tradition to go to a burger place or a pizza place.
My party was a party of 4, 2 being larger guys, 1 tiny girl, and an average sized guy. We were sat at a booth. 2 larger guys can but definitely wont be comfortable sitting on the same side. These booths are more toward the smaller side, even for 4 people.
Our waitress came shortly to take our drink orders. Then a few minutes later, our meal orders.
Their burgers are more on the pricey side but as expected from a restaurant inside a casino, and from a more named chef.
I had ordered the reuben. Our burger loving friend got the hangover burger. My tiny female friend (lol...) got the American classic with bacon on the side (shes not a fan of bacon, nor am I), and our other friend got a salmon burger

Food came out fairly quick. Most of us ordered medium for our patties with exception for the "American Classic" being medium rare. They were all cooked at about the same doneness of about a medium. A nice crust with a warm red center. Also, another "consistent" thing that we felt was in all our burgers was the patty was severely underseasoned. My friend opened up her burger and went ham on sprinkling salt on hers. I just sprinkled sparingly before every few bites. A little salt went a LONG way and it definitely helped.
When my burger "The Reuben" first arrived, I was like WTCRAP I got 3 small slivers of corned beef? then my friend told me he sees it under the melted cheese. Lol almost flipped the table for paying such a higher premium for 3 slivers. With the added salt, the burger was fairly tasty. The bread used was nicely toasted, and had a good firmness to it without being hard.
Skinny fries was about the same thickness as, per se, fries from McDonalds. Not bad. Comes with a nice pickle spear too. Dunoe why the "Evolve Salmon" came with 2 spears vs our 1. Om nom nom pickle. XD
Friend had mentioned the "hangover sauce" is similar to thousand island dressing, maybe something like spread from In n out too. xD
All in all. Decent place. Friend thoroughly enjoyed it. Ate his own and finished my friends 1/3 left over. I've never been much of a burger lover so it was ok to me. Lol
Not sure how busy they'd be normally during normal meal times but it was pretty easy when we went. Took them quite a while to bring the check though.
