We were visiting the area from out of town when my daughter's nearly 6-year-old MacBook Pro died. Apple tech offered free help by phone and sent us to the store when they couldn't resolve the problem. At the store, the staff member listened to our story and scheduled us for the Genius Bar an hour or so later. The staff member at the Genius Bar was a lifesaver, checking the integrity of the old laptop and offering excellent advice on backing up and possibly retrieving her data. We ended up purchasing a new MacBook Air and (after arriving home) transferred the data to the new machine. Cannot say enough good things about the staff here. Thanks!
