  • Their are two reviews that are repetitively bad! 1.) Long lines because there are not enough cashier lanes open. and 2.) The automotive department. My review is with door #2! The automotive department! I went to this location to get a new car battery because of the lower cost and they also will install it for free. Although I can install my own battery within 20 minutes I walked in the store and grabbed the battery that I know works for my engine and placed in on the cashier counter. And this is where my fun began! The cashier approached the register and began to ring up the battery without a greeting. Anyone that works in customer service knows that the first thing you do is GREET THE CUSTOMER! So I asked the cashier if it's true that they do free install with the purchase of a battery? I was then handed a mysterious ticket with a bar code on it and was told to "Get in your car and drive it into the garage." My brain lit up and figured that her response was a yes to my question about free install so I went to my car. I drove into a garage stall and gave the tech my info. I was told 45 minutes and went into the waiting room. Curiosity soon hit me while I was holding my mysterious ticket with a bar code. I approached the cashier with the ticket in my hand but before getting a word out of my mouth she took it and walked into the garage to see if my car was ready that I literally just left 5 minutes earlier. She came back in letting me know that my car wasn't ready! Wow!!! what a shock, If she would of not ripped the mysterious ticket out of my hand I could of asked her that I was wondering what in the hell this ticket that she gave me earlier was for. And that I was also wondering if I paid now or later? Simple questions that I should of been told at the begging. After an hour my name was called and the stare off at the register began! She literally was miming how I was supposed to check out. Since I have bought things before I figured out how to check out without her speaking. She handed me the receipt and looked at the guy behind me to begin assisting him with her silence. I might of crossed the line here when I said "excuse me I have a question" O'Boy how dare I!!! I was wondering what the warranty was on the battery. I was trying to find it on the receipt and it wasn't on there. The lovely cashier said that she can't see through paper cause I was holding it trying to find warranty info. I successfully got away from the employee of the year and got into my car in which no one said thank you as I left. While starting my car the radio needed a code to work again. So exciting for me! I get to go back in there and deal with them again. I saw the mechanic that worked on my car and asked him how to reset the radio and he said that I need a code and to try to find it in my car manual. I thought to myself after paying $100 on a battery that maybe you could find the stupid code. As this was going on the employee of the year came out and told me to enter code 1,2,3,4 on a 5 coded radio. After that obviously didn't work she walked away making a stupid comment " I'm not sure what the code is but whatever". That was it for me! I was out of there. I Drove to the Honda dealer where they reset it for me. Never again will I go to this store to get any work or shopping done no matter how much cheaper it is. As they say " You get what you pay for"!
