We decided to go here for my birthday dinner and were not disappointed! We stayed at the Excalibur, so the short walk to New York New York was worth it for this delicious meal.
When we arrived, there were not many seating options available and we were placed at a tall table with chairs that did not have a back. Typically, I would've asked to be seated at a booth or lower table, as I find the tall tables and chair with no backs uncomfortable; however, I did not want to be difficult since they didn't have other seating options available.
Our waiter came up to our table promptly to give us menus and take our drink orders. He was friendly and patient with us as we waded through their huge menu. Their food menu is very extensive, which made it a difficult decision for us! The drink menu has good selection as well.
We decided to start off with their shrimp tempura roll. It was a good size and tasty as well. For our entree, we chose to split the crab and asparagus fried rice. First of all, I thought this was such a creative take on fried rice and one that I never would've thought of. Second, omg! Thank goodness we decided to split it because the portion was absolutely HUGE! My boyfriend and I each ate quite a bit of it and still had at least another good serving of it left.
Another cool feature of this place is that they have the sushi chefs working right at the bar so you can sit right in front of them and watch your sushi being rolled.
Our experience here was really great. We left feeling very full of delicious food and drinks. Our waiter was attentive but not annoying. Definitely recommend this place for a delicious meal.
