  • I swear all they want is your money, and LOTS of it! The tutors are always changing and all have different styles of teaching, which is definitely confusing for your child when he/she goes back to school. Oh and forget about the flat fee you pay (via loan by their lender when forced to sign a contract) before your child can begin being tutored. Once you've run out of the amount of tutoring hours you initially paid for, unbeknownst to you, they don't tell you you've run out of hours they just run a tab and to your shock and surprise they give you an additional (new) bill! Incompetent, tacky and tasteless services offered. I would NOT recommend Sylvan to anyone.
