Stay Away. Take your money elsewhere. This place is NOT worth it.
I've been to Signature Nails & Spa twice now and both times I regretted the decision. The first time I got a powder dip done, the second time I went to get a powder dip removed and a manicure.
Powder Dip. This is what they "specialize" in, but the whole process here was not what I'm accustomed to at all. No soaking my nails at all to soften up the powder dip. They just went straight in with the drill. They drilled a bit too much and ignored me saying "that's getting too hot" or "that hurts." They were rushing to get people in and out as quickly as possible without any regard for quality of work. My powder dip ended up lasting me a week (normally they last me 3+ weeks) and they kept my hands in front of the fan which caused the top coat to get wrinkled and textured and weird. NOT how it is supposed to go.
Removal. They soaked my hands in the remover for about 45 minutes. I know they were busy, but damn. It does not take that long. Then, when I sat down for the manicure, they took a file to my skin. Like a hard "this is for acrylics" file to get the nail polish residue stuck to my skin off. OUCH. Sorry, but 1-that's unsanitary as hell. USE SOME NAIL POLISH REMOVER, NOT A FILE. I don't know when that file was sanitized. 2-THE EFFING HURT. It's skin. It's not a nail. Nail polish remover did the trick way faster and with way less pain. I was bleeding from the file. BLEEDING. Who does that? Why would you try to use a nail file on my finger to get nail polish residue off?
Sure, they have a ton of colors for powder dips. But that is literally the ONLY redeeming factor. Their prices aren't any better. Their service is awful. Their techs are awful. Take your money somewhere else (try Lacquer Me Up. They have a ton of colors and they're professional, nice, and don't try stupid things to try to churn out customers as fast as they can).
Nope. Stay away from this place at all costs.
