  • Was in a panic early this morning when I realized one of the springs for our very heavy garage door had broken. I found three recommendations on our neighborhood website and called all three at 6:45 a.m. One had real people at an answering service who told me they could come at 3. The 2nd had a recording, and I still haven't heard back from him 8 hrs later, and the 3rd, Avondale, was answered by the owner!! He said they could come around 11-noon. I booked him and was called by Michael, the owner's son, to alert me when he was on his way. He replaced both springs as they were 11 years old for a total with tax of $339. I am sold on this company and their exceptional customer service...what a treat coming from the Seattle area where business is just too good for vendors to care!!
