  • Was at the aquarium for the July 4 Red White & Brew event last night. Have not been there in about a year. There are many new animals, including an octopus, who was asleep in a corner of the tank. The staff was wonderful, very attentive to a large crowd of people, and still available to answer questions and even brought me a tortoise to touch. (I use a motorized scooter so it was not easy for me to get close on my own.) I love our local Aquarium, and have seen that it is gradually improving the flow of the exhibits and the diversity of animals -- all good.
