  • Let me say this first. I love Britney. She's fabulous and amazing. Which probably set me up for disappointment. Having seen her show was just named "best show in Las Vegas", I thought I was going to be dazzled. The show is entirely lip-synced. This was no surprise, and I fully expected that when I walked in. So I wasn't disappointed by this. But if she's going to lip-sync, I really expected her to dance much better, because that's the other thing she's known for, after all. Instead, she looked like she was just phoning it in. The dance moves were sloppy and imprecise. There were no dance moves that wowed me. No dance moves that made me go "wow, that's Britney." Even the backup dancers were sloppy. Their dancing could have been much tighter. The other disappointing part is her outfits. My friends and I agreed... We all secretly were hoping she would wear some of the signature outfits from her most memorable videos like a schoolgirl's outfit. Or a flight attendant. Or that sleek red leather thing from Toxic. But no. We were hoping for cute, super choreographed dance numbers like from hit me baby one more time, but also no. Lastly, the sound system in the theatre absolutely sucks. The sound was terrible, you can hear the speakers clearly cannot handle it. For the kind of money we spent, we expected this to be much better. The positives? Her songs are great and there are a few hits you are sure to have forgotten, and hearing them again is just amazing. Despite the poor audio, I still danced throughout the concert. Some of the stage effects were pretty cool. But overall, unfortunately I don't think it's worth the price.
