Beware! If you plan to sell to this owner, Jacqueline, be prepared to be manipulated by her not so subtle way of making you feel as though she's doing you a massive favor by taking your items off your hands. Demand a list of all items for sale and the price she places on each item. Be smart about whether or not to allow her to con you into accepting her inevitable low-ball offer.
Jacqueline's response fails to mention that she refused to provide me with an itemized list of the items I sold her and the price she was offering to pay. It also fails to acknowledge that she spent the entire two hours criticizing my items in spite of the fact that they were all major labels, most of which have never seen the inside of her store before! Regarding the item she references as compared to a similar item on eBay she neglects to mention that she chose the cheapest option available.
She tries to humiliate you into thinking your items have virtually no value and that she is doing you a favor by even considering buying them. Items she initially rejected ("my customers don't have such narrow feet", "my customers aren't your size") she ultimately threw into the pile of things she took never intending to pay me for them at all. She sat on my coffee table! Who does that?!
After spending two hours with her I was exhausted and I just wanted her to leave. As for taking back my items, I simply didn't want to have anything more to do with her. She did, however, surreptitiously, return a clothing rack she took and didn't pay me for which to me proved that everything I said about her was true. She's a con woman!
