Last night 2 friends and I were looking for somewhere to get food and drinks after the fireworks on 4th of July. We tried to go to Herbs & Rye but it was closed! We eventually ended up at Bahama Breeze, and it was honestly a great experience. I have been here a handful of times before and have always enjoyed it. I really love their late night happy hour, although we could not take advantage of that last night because it was a Saturday, oh well. Without a doubt my absolute favorite thing about this place is that every single item from drinks to food to dessert has the CALORIE COUNT on the menu! This is super helpful for me since I log all of my calories daily. I chose the Painkiller cocktail which was delicious, for dinner I ordered the Grilled Chicken Sandwich on a brioche bun for only 400 calories, and I added avocado which was a generous portion and perfectly ripe. My choice of side was the Vine Ripened Tomato Salad which came in a balsamic dressing and was very good as well. I also ordered a glass of Cabernet and it was great. My friends had the Shrimp and Grits which looked incredible, and a steak with mashed potatoes which was perfectly cooked, and a nice looking Caeser Salad and Clam Chowder. I would have liked to order a dessert but there was nothing even remotely low in calories lol. Service was great and we were all pleased with our meals, and I like that they are open until midnight every night.
