| - If I could give this place negative stars, I would. I just had my first visit with the dentist a few months ago. I got my braces with them a few years back and I had a great experience with them, so I thought I sure try their dentist since the ortho side was great! However, the few months ago I went, I got a cavity filled and my teeth cleaned. They definitely did not fill my cavity in right. I'm not a dentist but i know I shouldn't be having any pain after getting a cavity filled. I had no issues before this, but now my tooth hurts if I chew gum on that side and it hurts whenever I drink cold water. And i can't even floss! There is no space, I've tried repeatedly and it always gets stuck and I struggle just to take the floss out. Ummmmmmm, I'm pretty sure that shouldn't happen... In that same appointment, after I got my X-rays done, I was told I had my two upper wisdom teeth and that I needed to get them out. I went ahead and made an appointment for my wisdom teeth surgery that very same day. Before I left, I made sure they told me how much the total cost of the surgery would be, because I didn't want any surprises. One of the office assistants that was walking me through the payments told me and showed me that the total after what the insurance covers would be $134. She asked if I wanted to pay in that moment or wait until the day of the surgery. I said I'd wait until that day to pay. So time goes by, and my surgery day is within a few days. I call them on Monday, two days before my scheduled surgery day, and I call them just to confirm my total. The lady on the phone says $134, as it should be, but THEEEENNNNN, she says, but actually it depends, I could range. So I was said, okayyyyyyyyy....? What's the range? She says $134- $400. Wtf!! Where in the hell did the $400 come from??? And why did they not tell me there was a "range" when they told me the total cost would be $134??? So I'm very annoyed at this point because never did they mention this "range". I took vacation days off work for this and now I may not even get them taken out. So I wake up at 9am this morning to be there for my 9:45 appointment. I walk in, and right away, the staff and surgeon greet me with "are you ready!?" And I chuckled to myself because I knew that it probably wasn't going to happen because they lied to me about the cost. So I ask them again, how much is the total going to be, the FINAL cost with no lies. It goes from $400 to $800!!!! WHAT!!! The surgeon then begins to explain, and I'm just not even listening at this point because I'm so shocked and annoyed and how this turned from $134 to nearly almost $1000. I ofcourse said no, and said I would reschedule. I'm actually 1000% not going to reschedule and I'm looking for a professional dental office that doesn't lie to their patients. My sister currently has braces with them and they have been also doing a HORRIBLE job. Her brackets have fallen off so many times and she never chews ice, eat chips, or any foods that she's not suppose to with braces. They have also messed up at least 3 of her appointments, giving my mom a date and them having a different date in their system. Causing my mom to waste her time driving there and signing my sister out of school just for them to say, oh sorry! You don't have an appointment today. I hope I wasted the doctors time today in my decision in not doing the surgery because they definitely wasted mine!!! I took my last vacation days just for this!!! I rearranged my entire schedule for the month of December just for this non sense!!! Now I probably won't have time to get this done until maybe the summer of 2018. Unbelievable!!! I will be telling everyone I know to avoid this place at all costs!
