Lied Library, my second home..
Pros:
-Spacious, clean library w/ many open areas. Large desks to lay out all your work
-Many resources available to students. Can check out books, headphones, cameras, laptops
-plenty of fast computers (except during peak hours, good luck). You can use the touch screen on the first floor to see where available computers are
-easy to print (3cents per b&w page)
-constantly renovating to make better use of space and influx of students
-quiet rooms/group study rooms
-coffee and atm on the first floor.
-food allowed
Cons:
-Study rooms fill up quick. First floor study rooms are reservable
-no mercy if you're returning a rented laptop or book even a little late
-be careful to leave your stuff unattended. They'll probably get stolen.
-quiet rooms sometimes aren't too quiet
-not their fault, but some students leave their work space quite dirty. I'm talking crumbs and fingernails. Yuck
-closes early (6pm) on Saturdays
