My little sister's birthday dinner choice. Lots of small portions (not cheap) very nicely presented with a nice selection. OK lots of roosters -and a pheasant- on the wall with high ceilings and dark wood mixed with stone for atmosphere. I thought it was nice.
My sister went for the Gluten Free menu and had the Rooster wings which were so tasty that I wasn't offer even one! I had the chicken fried woods mushrooms ( a bit bland but the dipping sauce was great.) My sis's husband had the onion soup which must have been good 'cause nobody was offered a sip and it was gone is 60 seconds. He had scallops for main course (4,) quite rich. I had a chicken quarter. Everything was elegantly served, the wait staff was very attentive, the deserts were something (my sister's pear sorbet was exceptional.)
A nice dinner can easily exceed $50 per person, but it qualifies as a culinary experience to be properly savored- not just a meal.
