  • Warning: you need to purchase a Tempe Town Lake permit prior to arriving if using personal watercraft and the permits do not appear available at the marina. Luckily people I was with had a permitted kayak I could use. Lots of parking and easy loading and unloading. Bathrooms onsite. Fun watching dragon boats, rowers, people along the lake path. Easy on and off highway. Permit issues are a drag.
