  • Talk about interesting set up for Donut shop. Or could say melting pot of little bit of everything cause it true they do sell tamales. I reading that from other yelpers. Really? Donuts and Tamales not exactly peas in pod. heehee. If look pass the display of donuts can get confusing there display with ice cream got few choices, also sell sandwiches, boba, and refrigerators filled with different can drink options plus am sure there other stuff in there. I never gave it good look but it full with options. Sunrise Donuts one thing found refreshing is the donuts not about all fancy ones or gourmet trendy ones with different fillings or elaborate toppings. Really looking at the full display it nothing that going blow you away first impression. They do have plain cake style donuts besides one that more traditional donut. The plain cake style ones are smaller then regular style donuts (the regular style or the glaze donuts are pretty big twice the size). The plain cake it lot more dense but still nice moist. I ended up getting assorted dozen. Talk about reasonable price. Dozen only cost $11. Overall I enjoy the donuts! Different! The lady that works there not sure if she the owner or not. She is adorable. Older lady gives that small business or family run vibe. She asking me if live in the area. Small chat. I thinking reading another yelp reviews she might put extra donut in. I got extra glaze in my dozen. The service is nothing but five stars.
