  • Mirage location is ideal. Our most recent Mirage overnights: Room 25-115 in December 2012, Room 11-126 in February 2013. Clean, very nicely appointed rooms, always enjoy delicious dinner buffets with friends. On both of these visits, we encountered problems at check in, i.e., discrepancies with the Mirage Email Offer reserved which included 2 buffets per day. On February overnight stay, it was remedied only after insisting to speak to a manager, Drew, who was extremely pleasant and indicated it was a computer glitch. The overall atmosphere in the Casino and bars is lively and fun for all ages. The younger couple we were with in February were very pleased with their Mirage slot winnings. Temperature in the Casino was unpleasantly warm for us personally, but understandably hard to regulate with unseasonably cold temps. It was the same elsewhere as we discovered when visiting nearby Casinos. The Mirage and Aria continue to be our favorite Vegas Strip Hotels, but Mirage gets our nod for best location.
