Ok.
I love this place.
I've been here 3 times in 3 days.
I'm not going to reiterate the process of making our own custom cookie (my fellow yelpers have done a fantastic job already... no need to fix what's not broken ^^).
But I will echo that their baked goods are... heavenly. Their frozen yogurts are... yougurty. Their fresh toppings are... FRESH!
I bake. A lot. And I'm usually incredibly critical of store-bought cookies and cakes. I always feel that at home, you can be sure you have the best of all ingredients. Luckily for SFBS, I believe they're products are worthy of the "home-made" title (the BEST title available for baked goods I'd say). I watched one of the worker's chop up some Snickers bars for mix-ins.
There's also the option of getting a delish frozen yogurt (with or without fresh fruit toppings). It's not that creamy, almost-ice-cream stuff you get at other ice cream shops. It's REAL frozen yogurt. You can TASTE the yogurtyness. And it is amazing. And the fruit... is fresh. Actually fresh. Not frozen then thawed. Not frozen then dished. Fresh. I watched as my server cut up a yummy, juicy mango to top up my frozen yogurt. Yes, I mean THAT kind of fresh.
Price wise, it's not too spendy. $2.50 for a custom cookie or muffin top. $3.25 for a large frozen yogurt sans fruits or $5.25 with 3 toppings. And it wasn't all that packed.
Oh. My fiance's parent's just got a Big Green Egg (it's hideously green). And they can now grill, smoke, and bake anything they want. Including smores. And SFBS sells smore kits. For $27. For a smore kit. To make at home. For me. If they were open I'd go buy myself a smore kit. And make smores. For me. And maybe my kitty. But more for me. (I'm going to sleep now...)
