We had an excellent meal, as always, at the Brasserie V. It was super loud, though, and hard to hold a conversation (that's 1/2 a star deduction). Besides the moules (mussels) that I love, I also ordered heirloom tomato salad, which was a big disappointment. Heirloom tomatoes have such a wonderful taste that's all their own. These were chopped up into tiny bits (slices would be better), and they were drenched in an overpowering dressing with strong balsamic vinegar (why not just a bit of olive oil and a pinch of salt to let the flavors come through (one more 1/2 star deduction).
