  • I'm writing this 5-star review because this company has had a really impressive customer-centric approach in every interaction I've had with them. First, when one of our A/C units died about 3 years ago, we went with Alaskan to buy the new unit after getting 3 price quotes. The install went smoothly and it works great. Now they come out and do the maintenence check-ups every six months. Then the oddest thing happened during the last checkup -- the fan stopped working on our other 17 year old A/C unit right after they did the checkup on this fully functional unit. They showed me how the fan motor was going to go out soon, due to the bearings going bad and the bearing grease leaking out over years. But then it stopped working right after they turned it back on. I don't think they did anything wrong, I was there watching the whole time. I think it was just really bad luck and timing that the fan motor broke right when they were examining it and putting it back together. But nonetheless, they did right by me and installed a new motor on the fan and didn't charge me for me. I want to thank Marcel and Chad for being so decent about this when they didn't have to and for having a "we want to make it right for the customer" attitude. Of course, I will definitely be calling them up the next time I need A/C work done!
