  • When I was first looking for an apartment for work, I checked out at least 15 apartments in the Scottsdale/Tempe area before deciding on this complex. It fit a professional lifestyle while still being in a walkable area. I have a top level, one bed unit facing camelback. Pros- -Beautiful units, with updated appliances, washer dryer, everything you would need and more (like wine fridges and large bath tubs). -Location is amazing. You can walk EVERYWHERE. Old town Scottsdale, along the canal, Sprouts is a ten min walk, it's great. Close to hiking. -Everything seems clean to me, including common areas. I saw them vacuuming this morning as an example...and cleaning both the pool and clubhouse. -The amenities are great. Nice pool and gym. -Grounds are well taken care of and plants are thriving. -Friendly and helpful front desk staff. -Seems secure...You need the fob to get in anywhere (I have a love hate relationship with this, especially when juggling groceries and scanning my fob in the elevator). -Plentiful parking in the garage- always can find a spot near my elevator. - I rarely see residents in the hallway or elevator. 95% of the time I'm in my unit's elevator alone. Cons- -Because I am facing the road, I can hear pretty loud traffic/road noises. It just feels like living in a big city. -I can sometimes hear doors slamming in the hall, but nothing close to the noise issues that other reviewers described... Like I don't hear anyone cooking or alarms going off at all. I do know that the resident below me can hear me if I am moving objects or walking with heels around (she let me know....so I am cognizant at night). -I don't really understand paying for the common area utilities. Usually factored into overhead costs of running a business...most complexes don't do this. -Only other con is that the office closes at 6 (UPDATED) and if you want your package you have to wait. But I guess I'm happy it's not just lying around either.
