  • Tonight we decided to order takeout from TC Ribs. The reviews on Yelp seemed promising and the pictures on Instagram looked great; however, we were not very satisfied with this purchase. The meats were actually good. I had pulled pork and brisket, very juicy and tender. My boyfriend had ribs and chicken, which he also thought were flavorful and juicy. The sides were very subpar. The macaroni and cheese was dry and pretty bland. We also did not care for the potato salad. The greatest disappointment was that we ordered a side of catfish and were charged $12.99 for two very small fish fillets (basically the size of a chicken finger each). This was only for the fish fillets, did not include any sides at all. TC ribs should be embarrassed to charge their customers this. Additionally, the online menu stated the cost for my two meat combo was $15.99, yet I was charged $17.99 instead. The cornbread was decent, but we were told in placing the order we would receive 3 pieces and there were only 2 packaged when we arrived home. Finally, we were greatly disappointed in the desserts. My chocolate cake had that refridgerator taste when something has been in refrigerater too long. Also, my boyfriend is from Louisianna and Peach Cobbler is his absolute favorite desert, yet he only ate about 1/4 of it.. He is not one to complain, but this man never has any food leftover on his plate. Thank God we were able to use the $10 for $20 Yelp deal, otherwise our bill was almost $70 for a very subpar meal. Needless to say we will definitely not be dining here again.
