I called Second Opinion (love the name, because I definitely wouldn't like to do something without shopping around) and asked them for advice about a slab leak we had experienced in our 10 year old house. They actually answered the phone, which moves them up quite a bit from these other companies and I was speaking with Ryan, one of the partners in the business. I was unhappy with my situation and definitely didn't want to have to spend the money, but was so pleased with the fair pricing and the way Ryan was able to respond so quickly AND was patient enough to let me look over his shoulder as he worked to pipe above ground and fix the leak for us. It isn't fun paying for a big job like a slab leak, but you feel 100% better about it when the communication is so good and you know it is done by somebody who is passionate about doing quality work and building his business. Ryan and his partner were scrubbing the floor on their hands and knees before it was all over and in all honesty, probably left it cleaner than it was when they got here. Ryan is obviously an intelligent guy and used his problem solving skills to minimize any drywall repairs and I appreciate that too. I didn't have a plumber that I would trust for big jobs, but now I do. Don't pull the trigger without calling Second Opinion! You will be making a big mistake.
