  • Pharmacists at the Ewalt Rd. Rite Aid are irresponsible and unwilling to put forth any additional effort to resolve the slightest of issues. They have no knowledge of insurance policy changes and refuse to investigate further prior to charging the customer an outrageous copay. Had this experience multiple times before changing pharmacies. The burden is placed on the customer to call the insurance company or go without medication. They give no courtesy calls for any problematic issues. The pharmacists place the burden of calling the pcp or insurance company on the customer. I've gone multiple days and weeks without meds because of their negligence and outright laziness. I've also been forced to pay outrageous copays for medications or do without because they aren't aware of the difference in prices of brand named and generic medications. Complaints are outright ignored. This is the only pharmacy where I have experienced such profound issues. Avoid this pharmacy!
