  • This is one of those places that I really wanted to like. Good concept, good product mix, good prices, nice space. Though, like many before have commented, it falls apart with the staff. I honestly believe that they try, but it just doesn't cut it. They aren't terribly well trained and occasionally just seem disinterested. Lately, I've stuck with drip coffee whenever I've been by, since its much easier to not screw up. Last time, I saw the guy steaming milk with the pitcher sitting under the steaming wand unattended, a la-Starbucks. I'm not asking for latte art, but they should know not to do that. A few times, I've found foreign objects (i.e. pennies) that were roasted with the coffee. I contacted the owner the first time, didn't bother after that. The switch to clear bags was probably a good idea. What bothers me about this place is that it could be a lot better. Time will tell I guess.
