This school is special.
I was one of the people initially reading the reviews of this school (as well as other schools) and thinking to myself that it sounds a bit to good to be true to have this many five star reviews. I was seeking a career change after trying and having many different jobs and my gut told me this was the school to focus on and see if it would be the right path to take. Since making that first call to CEG and speaking with Alex all the way to passing my first audition, I always felt I was in good hands and not once felt let down by any one at the school.
Any type of schooling has always been intimidating to me considering I have some learning disabilities and in some areas may not pick things up as fast as others. This was one of the concerns I brought up before committing and got the chance to talk with Alex, Lisa and some of the other teachers there who helped ease my anxiety and assured me that they can still help me and get me to the finish line and beyond. They never let me down and have this incredible ability to always give their all to me and everyone else there. It's phenomenal and refreshing.
I'll mention some of the things that really stood out to me that I think others will notice as well and are worth mentioning:
- CEG always has this positive energy and vibe that stays present throughout the entire day and is thick in the air.
- All the teachers pay amazing attention to all the details and never miss a beat... one of them may be at the other end of the room but they are still watching and listening to what you're doing.
- There is constant interaction and positive reinforcement from all of the teachers and the students feed off of it as well so there's basically an optimistic vortex of sorts that travels all over the school and can see how interested everyone is in learning and getting better. The entire place seems to work as one unit or team.
- There's constant smiling and laughing and is very contagious in all the best ways.
- There are lot's of people that start with no prior experience at all (including myself) as well as people that have experience and either want to get even better or learn a new game.
- CEG is filled with very diverse and multicultural people; all sorts of different people from all walks of life come here to learn.
- Extremely supportive teachers and staff that seem to have an answer for everything... school related or just life in general ;) Everyone is a great listener and feels heard.
- Very fair: Aside from the pricing being very reasonable, their approach for teaching isn't necessarily a one size fits all and nothing is asked of students that would be considered unreasonable. Alex, Lisa and the rest of the teachers just get "it" and see the big picture.
I could really go on and on but ultimately, they create a real genuine, comfortable and nurturing learning environment. In my opinion, CEG is the full embodiment of what is really needed to deliver a successful learning environment that leaves people at the end of the day with a lasting impression and feeling like the next day to go back in to learn more can't come soon enough. The excitement and craving for stimulation and learning is always on because of what CEG delivers.
Special thanks to Alex and Lisa who are some of the most genuine, dedicated and selfless people I have ever met. You both restored hope for me and have the utmost respect for how you both carry yourselves with class, swag and integrity.
This school truely cares about it's students and helping each and every student get to where they want to be. You won't be disappointed.
