  • I have been a swap meet visitor since I moved to the Phoenix years ago. I have had my screens put on my windows from one of your independent vendors and have decorated my back yard with tons of items purchased there. I recommend your swap meet to just about everyone. Today I was in wing A in the north concession stand and ordered a regular large Pepsi. It was very loud so when the concession employee asked me if I wanted Diet I happily repeated I needed regular Pepsi. When I asked where the straws were the lady rudely said," I already told you they are behind you." I was a little shocked but I let it go. She retrieved my change and as she handed it to me she rudely said, "You need to do a better job at listening." I was in disbelief so I begged her pardon and she repeated, " you need to be a better listener." I don't understand if my race had anything to do with how she responded or if she is just plain mean but no one should be treated like that. I recommend you bring your own drinks so you don't have the same experience.
