  • Of all Hertz offices I have been to in my life, this is definitely the worst by far. They are unbelievably unprofessional, impolite and deceptive. Though I requested for GPS on line, they said my car does not come with GPS because I did not request for it--practically telling me it is my fault. When I showed my reservation copy which clearly shows that I had requested for GPS, they simply chose to ignore. They said there is nothing they could do about the GPS, so I decided to rent a mobile type GPS separately which costs additionally, not to mention. After all paperwork was done, they suddenly told me that they did not have a car for me. I was extremely frustrated, so I requested for discount. They said, "Once the car is ready." When the car was finally ready, they seemed to have decide to ignore the discount agreement with me. So, I asked them about what happened to the discount. Then they said to me, "No discount because the car arrived on time." What the heck is this? I requested for manager and directly asked him about the discount. The manager eventually agreed to discount...but, the amazing thing was customer service guy was trying to persuade the manager NOT to give me discount. It was so unbelievable to watch. When I complained, they complained back to me twice as hard. I had to spend close to 50 minutes for all arrangements made (including 20 minutes waiting in line). After all sorts of troubles at the counter, I finally got into the car and immediately came to notice that the car was actually equipped with built-in GPS. I was extremely tired and no more energy left to come up to the counter again to complain about this. So, I decided to take off and complain later. After I checked in my hotel some hours later, I called Hertz to report about this poor GPS arrangements. I was then told that they will make a note so returning personnel would be aware of this. When I returned the car days later, the returning guy told me that I had had refund. Refund sounds fine, but it was partial--I really do not know why the refund had to be partial. I have no idea why I have to deserve this mess.
