This is a great lunch spot in an area low on good, homemade food (i.e., the depressing drech of Mayfield). The wedding soup is the best I've had and the prepared dishes such as chicken marasala iarequite tasty. I always pick up a selection of dolce -- adore the pine nut almond cookies -- for dessert later in the evening. It's also reather pleasant to sit in the warmer weather with the glass doors open. It reminds me a bit of the sort of places we love to have casual lunches in Italian cities -- where the locals go for a quick, homemade lunch -- some pasta, a cold salad maybe. I like the system of charging by the weight -- good for portion control.
