  • We usually eat here whenever family comes to town, because they stay to gamble at the Cal and Main street and our meals are usually free. That's how much they gamble! It's a pretty decent buffet, and we always find something that we gravitate towards, depending on our mood that day. They have dishes that people from Hawaii are familiar with, such as pork and peas, kalua pig and cabbage, and kimchee, to name a few. Unfortunately I haven't tried those dishes, because those are dishes I usually make. This last meal they had beef ribs that were pretty tasty. and so was the rice pilaf. I didn't notice those on the buffet often. The pizzas were really nice, hot and cheesy. And you can get 3 kinds of chicken/wings. Barbeque, fried, and buffalo. The salad bar is Ok, its a little lacking in toppings. I don't usually stand in the line for the cut of meat. which could be ham, beef or pork. or during breakfast its the omelet station. We've been here during breakfast times as well, and they make good biscuits and gravy, Portuguese sausage, French toast and your typical fresh fruit, cantaloupe, watermelon, pineapple, grapes and honeydew melon. Lots of breakfast items to be found, just depends what you want. Let's not forget the dessert bar. There's a sugar free section that may sometimes have a pie the regular side doesn't have. But I myself go for the key lime pie, lemon meringue or custard. Those are my favorites. We always leave here satisfied and full for the whole day. It's a good thing, we only come a few times a year!
