| - I stayed here because the conference I was attending was at the hotel. There are several towers and I chose the Palace tower. I found it to be very convenient as I could just take the elevator down to the level where the meetings were being held. It was also close to the area with a lot of restaurants as well. The room is large and very nice. I have a room with 2 beds but you can also get a king size bed. There is a desk and chair, vanity table with lighted mirror, large closet with a light that comes on when you walk by, large bathroom with tub, separate shower, enclosed toilet, double sink and a safe in the closet but it's too small for a computer. There is a Keurig coffee maker but you have to pay for the keurig cups that are available in your room. There is a mini-bar and fridge-one of those that charges you if you take something out so don't move anything for more than a few seconds if you don't want to pay.
You can sign up for express check in prior to arrival and you go to a kiosk. However, when I did that, got a message that my room wasn't ready (that was at 4:45pm) and they would email me when I was ready. I went to a lounge and checked my bag with bell desk. Finally after about an hour, called reservations and they told me that my room was ready-there was something wrong with the kiosk. If you try this and get that message, go to the front desk right away. You can choose to forgo housekeeping and will get a $10.00 credit for each night when you haven't used the housekeeping. If you are on a short stay, could be worth it.
It is good to be aware that the towers may have different types of rooms. The Palace Tower was recently updated and is probably nicer than some towers which may account for the divergent reviews. You can easily spend all your time at Caesar's Palace but it's convenient to many of the other casinos and shows.
