  • LA Fitness is a JOKE! Stay away! I came in a couple of weeks ago to inquire about a gym membership and the GM of the club approached very politely. We toured around the gym, took me back to his desk to ask me about my goals as far as weight training goes. Next thing you know he is using everything I have given him as ammunition to hard sell me on a membership I don't even need! Why would I want to pay $80 a month when I am a single male, do not play basketball or racquetball? Now I get it, I've worked sales before and I understand that if this man isn't high pressure, he will have corporate hounding him like a mad man. But that does not justify this guy trying to diverge me into a plan I obviously didn't need. I wanted a basic club membership, not multi club or that BS. That didn't stop him from trying to up sell me on other memberships. I had a flyer sent to me door for 29.95 no sign up fee and showed Gonzalo the flyer and he disregarded it BEFORE the expiration date. Here is the kicker: right before I stood up to storm off, blood is dripping through Gonzalos nose with white residue flowing in the blood. Which made perfect sense because his pupils were dilated, his breath wreaked and he kept twitching. Will never be going to an LA Fitness.
