  • Had an emergency while in Vegas, needed to see a dentist that could give me a same day appointment on a Saturday. I understood this would limit my choices but it was an emergency of a broken crown/bridge. I found Comfort Care, very close to my hotel. Got a same day appt, went there, they explained to me what needed to be done. Basically they needed to assess if I needed a root canal or just needed to clean out the area and replace the crown. They gave me the financials, I really didn't have an option since the broken crown had already been removed. Got the procedure done, came back about a month later to have the temp crown removed and the new crown installed. The new crown cracked that evening, went back for a follow up and they told me it wasn't a big deal, it was just chipped!! At that point I was done, had no intention of ever returning. The whole procedure cost over 5K, about 1k out of pocket for me, I for that price I expect that crown to last for years. The one that cracked was about 15 years old! And to top it all off, they didn't resolve my issues, I still can't eat on that side without some pain. Then a few months later they sent me a bill for what they claimed my insurance didn't cover. I don't know medical billing but I don't understand how they could have not understood what my insurance covered. Looking for a great dentist in Vegas, somebody message me if they know of one.
