  • Had to post, obviously, about the best bagels in Charlotte. I have been coming to Owens to enjoy their fresh, steamed delicious bagels since 2004/2005 when they first opened. As bagels are my one food I could eat every day for the rest of my life and never get sick of them, I have high standards. And Owen's has literally never disappointed (except for that time when someone decided to run their car into the building and they were closed for a devastating amount of time. But that's not the bagels' fault). ANYWAY I placed my low carb diet on hold yesterday for lunch (to kick off Thanksgiving week, duh) and again- did not disappoint. I have been getting Kool Jules as my go-to deli sandwich. For a time, it was off the menu but they would make it for me anyway, and eventually it ended up back on the menu. I like mine with cucumbers instead of sprouts- definitely a good decision. A couple other good ones I've had are the Tonya Harding Club and the BobEQue. My fav breakfast ones are the Sweet Caroline, the Banana Surprise and the traditional Breakfast bagel with sausage egg cheese and cream cheese. GO TO OWENS! THEY ARE CHANGING THE WORLD ONE BAGEL AT A TIME!!!
