  • Wow, I can't believe I'm first to review here! Honestly awesome store! I'm very health conscious and knew all the chemicals I had been exposing my body to over the years wasn't good for me. So about 10 months ago finally came the day when I made the push to do something about it. I was well aware of Rocky Mountain Soap but had honestly just never made the effort to visit. I came in expecting to start slow and just leave with a stick of all natural deodorant; I left with the deodorant along with a bunch of new natural soaps and skin care products haha... These guys have just about every personal care product you could imagine: soap, body wash, a complete face care line, deodorant, body butter, body lotion, creams, oils, lip balm, hair products, even a line of baby products and much more! I have basically adopted their whole line of care products since. Our skin absorbs anywhere from 21-94% of what we put on it, with guys using an average of 6 personal care products per day (12 for women) it can really add up! All their products are 100% natural and toxic free, there's no animal testing and no harsh chemicals being washed down the drain back into the environment. These are just some of the reasons I would highly recommend checking out Rocky Mountain Soap and joining the "Toxin-Free-Movement". I feel really good about myself and what I expose my body to since I made this huge change. The staff at this location are great every time I visit; they're always happy to provide impartial advice and point you in the right direction if you're unsure about something. Shoutout to Angele for getting me started on this big change and having the patience to really provide a lot of great information and advice, also to the manager Wendy who is always kind and willing to lend a hand. On my most recent visit it was Naomi who was quick to lend a hand, I could go on and on, everyone here rocks! Another thing I like about shopping here is you are also supporting local, it may not be obvious because Rocky Mountain Soap has really taken off and are now located in 3 provinces and have a strong online presence. But it wasn't too long ago that they were a small independent store that started in Canmore, Alberta. They are a bit pricey compared to your usual personal care products that you can buy for next to nothing at a pharmacy or department store, but you got to ask yourself if your health is worth a few dollars and cents more? Easy answer for me :). Once again I definitely recommend these guys, all their locations are great and I'm sure I'll review another one soon enough. Also make sure you join their "Toxin-free movement" and you can get a free bar of soap on the month of your birthday, and some other freebies when they have one of their "toxic-free days"!
