  • I stopped in and asked if they had a first edition of Frank Herbert's Dune. They did. Only $9,500! The were even going to let me touch it. I declined. I don't really want to hold a book worth that much, but I did feel a certain reverence in its presence. If you are a book lover, Bauman is an amazing treasure trove of rare and wonderful books. Being able to afford any of them however, is an entirely different matter. To its incredible advantage though, the friendly staff doesn't make you feel like you are too poor to stop in and look and for that reason I highly recommend it.
