  • I shop at EarthFare quite a bit, but unfortunately it's mostly out of convenience. First off, their groceries are overpriced and often times I can find the same exact items (produce, milk/juice, frozen foods etc.) at Harris Teeter for less. The sandwich bar is a joke. Last time my bf ordered a sandwich, the sandwich maker was running around the kitchen trying to find ingredients. After about 15 minutes we said just give us what you got. The time before that, my sandwich was dried out cause the guy toasted my bread twice (who does that?) and tasteless because there was no sauce. I've also tried their pizza, sushi, deli, bakery and juice bar, all of which are just ok. I used to really like the pb cookies, but they changed the recipe and now something's off. The cashiers are hit or miss. Some are really nice, some are emo and refuse to smile. Often times they don't credit my Tomato Bank when I bring my own bags. I wish I could say more positive things about this place. I give it 2 stars because they carry certain items that some other grocery stores don't carry (like unsweetened Acai, Mexican Coca Cola and organic ice cream)
