I've never done anything like this before. So, I didn't really know what to expect. We came here to do a fun group activity to celebrate a friend's birthday with the hopes that we'd all still be friends afterwards. Most of us are extremely competitive. We were all nervous.
The guys that work here made us feel at ease as they gave us a brief background as to what to expect without giving away any details. There's a video to watch before going into the room and start your mission. There are 3 escape rooms to choose from: Hostage Rescue (easy), Mob Boss (hard), and Crazy Professor (hard). We picked Mob Boss.
Our group of 7 was able to solve all the puzzles in all 3 stages within the allotted time of an hour. You are allowed 3 clues over the radio. It's amazing how we just automatically formed smaller groups to solve bits and pieces of each stage. You learn how each person processes information and figure out a solution. But the funny thing is how we spent so much time on the easiest part of the first stage.
We all had a fun time. Looking for clues, cracking codes...it's like being a kid again. We're already planning our next trip to Lockdown.
