rev:text	We used this plumbing company yesterday and will tell you "Never Again"! We have a main home drain that clogs about once a year, and plan on making a permanent fix when we can better afford the $5000-$10,000 replacement of the line. We made an appointment with Gillece Plumbing to come in and snake the line to allow continued use of the system. The technician arrived after a reasonable time, and after being told of the situation ran his camera in the affected drain line. After a few minutes he informed us that the blockage was 7-10 feed from the drain access and he wouldn't be able to clean it with the equipment he carried with him. He said he would bring in his water blasting pipe cleaner and do the job for about $1900 plus tax. He said the blockage was like apple pie filling and couldn't be opened any other way. After a few minutes of discussion we informed the tech we would have to think about his proposal. He offered a 1-year guarantee in the job. The good thing was he didn't charge us anything for the show up , which is the companies norm. "If they don't fix the problem you aren't charged". After the Gillece tech left, we called Roto Rooter and their tech arrived later in the afternoon and opened up the affected drain line using the same equipment the Gillece tech had with him in about 20 minutes at a cost of under $100. The job that couldn't be done, was done in a very short time at a very reasonable price. We will never use Gillece Plumbing Services again. We will call Roto Rooter.
