We came in with a reservation for my husband's birthday on a Sunday for brunch. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We loved the general ambiance of the place, it's like you're walking into a home and I would assume this was a house converted into a restaurant. The dining areas are separated into rooms which gives privacy to the diners.
Their brunch menu is fairly new so we didn't get a significant response from our hostess in terms of item popularity. We went for the onion tarte, we loved every bite and would say this was the highlight of the meal. The crust was buttery and the filling was flavorful.
My husband got the Filet benedict, eggs were perfectly poached and the hollandaise sauce had the right amount of creaminess to compliment the filet and flakes of blue crab. The potatoes were also well seasoned and I caught myself picking from my husband's plate.
I got the Salmon Nicoise salad, again, well executed. The salmon was cooked right and the potatoes were oven roasted which added that needed crispy texture to the salad. Unfortunately, we didn't have room for dessert. My only comment would be, the service was somewhat slow but we weren't sure if that's really the pace they offer since it's a French restaurant.
We will surely keep this place in mind, likely to try dinner next time.
