This is of the few places in the financial district with a cozy bit of "personality". I like popping in here with friends or family after work when I don't want to run into people I work with; the place is hidden in an alley and there are nooks and crannies abound inside, so no "see and be seen" is even possible.
The food is standard pub fare, but done really well--- I've had the duck as well as the crab cakes, and both were very well presented and delicious, with good sized portions and tasty sides, and the staff are quirky, friendly and quick.
Would recommend.
