| - Hey so all rooms facing the street will get bass vibrations and noise from the bars and nightclubs on the block into the wee hours. Good luck sleeping. You'll get some ear plugs from the management team if you complain though, so there is that.
After making a lot of noise, I did manage to get a room on a quieter end of the hotel, so that helped; my two colleagues however, weren't so lucky. Hope you're a Platinum Starwood member, otherwise you may be out of luck.
The rooms are typical dorm-room style new-age nonsense W rooms, where you have a screen door separating the bed from the toilet. So if you're here with a date or significant other, you're going to pretty much see and hear everything - good luck with the romance.
Wifi signal was intermittent and tiered pricing for different speeds is always annoying. Overly expensive room service didn't help ($50+ for an egg dish, side of avocado and a cup of tea). This stuff just adds up.
Oh, and I checked out and haven't yet been emailed a copy of my room invoice. So of course I called the main line number to ask for it.... and there's no answer (yes I tried 3 times this morning). Of course.
If you're 24 and trying to pretend to be a "baller", by all means stay here and blow your meager life savings on bottle service at the hotel bar. Everyone else, there are better places to stay in this town.
