This salon has the worst "customer service" of any salon I have ever been to my entire hair colouring life!!!
I have been trying to go blonde for over a year now and started at a salon on Avenue Road. Now while I wasn't happy there, nothing gets worse than Blonde.
I came for a consult back in January of 2016 and was told all kinds of misinformation. At this point I was already at the medium to light blonde shade and wanted to go overall blonde. I was told oh we can't do that you need to keep doing highlites. Then you see posts on their Instagram where they do the overall colour in one day! Why wasn't I offered this? Of course this would work to their advantage as the more often you visit they keep charging you. They also try to push treatments and hair products on you from each person who works on your hair. I mean how many times can you be hounded to buy products?
On my last visit to this salon Is when I have had enough. My visit on June 30 with Kathryn for overall colour was a disaster! She left me with YELLOW hair and she tried to blame me saying that it's because I had highlites! I mean seriously? You and the salon have been pushing me to do only highlites since my first consult in January and now you blame the client?? I was mortified when my hair was getting blow dried and I expressed my concerns and told Kathryn that it's too YELLOW! She told me to come back in 3 weeks!! I left the salon so unhappy and I wrote the owner Stacey an email the following day. I called the salon and no one answers the phone there so I kept trying when finally I reached Kathryn on Saturday morning. I told her I cannot live with yellow hair and see my clients looking like this. She said come in I have only 45 minutes today, so I went to see her and she worked on my hair for a few hours to try to fix the yellow she left me with. Once it was finished it was less yellow but still not as it's supposed to be and she's supposed to be a "Master Colourist ".
I once again emailed the owner Stacey and expressed to her that I was so unhappy to have had to go back again to fix my hair why wasn't it done correctly 2 days prior? She told me that I shouldn't come back to her salon that it's obviously not a good match for me! I have all her email correspondence and I am happy to share with anyone who is considering this place. Save your hair and money and STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! The owner Stacey has absolutely zero concept or concern for her clients. She is confrontational, defensive and rude beyond comprehension. She doesn't realize that word of mouth drives business and I hope she learns a thing or to about business etiquette or she won't last and that's what she deserves. Please direct message me and I have pictures and video of my botched hair colour if it helps you to avoid this place!
Also go to Google and read the negative reviews there, trust me there are plenty and they all echo the same message. Beware of this place!
