Dove Spa might have good beauty products and services but I'll never know. I can't seem to grasp why they would even post a deal on Buytopia if they won't honor customers with vouchers. Perhaps they don't want to extend their clientele?
I bought a voucher with a friend of mine and double checked the fine print, "subject to availability". My first call was in late January/February in which they told me the voucher can only be used from Tuesday-Thursday. I was a tad disappointed and decided to try the month after as my friend had a gruelling work schedule. The rest of my calls were very interesting. I was able to book the date and time but once the receptionist asked what service we wanted and I mentioned our vouchers she would immediately say there was no availability for voucher holders that day. I've called multiple times suggesting different dates but the available dates would miraculously become full. In the end, they were fully booked for May (month the voucher was due). Bizarre isn't it, fending off business because they rather wait around for full price customers. I must add that the receptionist offered $59 gift cards (price we paid for the vouchers) but honestly can you imagine what criteria we would have to abide by to use them?
I contacted Buytopia and explained my frustration. They informed me that Dove will extend the expiry date until the end of summer. As a result, I called them last week to book an appointment and the receptionist said they never agreed to those terms. I've known other spas and companies that extended the dates to accommodate the demand but I suppose customer satisfaction is something they don't value as well.
